In our historical town at the foot of the Mátra and Bükk mountains are a lot of wonderful sights for those who come here to relax. In our guest house in the residential area of Eger we offer you a holiday in a friendly atmosphere. It only takes a few minutes to get to the town centre by car, and 10 minutes by bus. Our town has several museums, churches, the Basilica, the Fortress, a thermal pool with special features for added enjoyment, a pedestrain zone in the centre and a lot of other spectacles that visitors can discover with delight. Several thermal baths are situated near Eger: Bükkszék, Bogács, Zsórifürdõ and Egerszalók, which welcome visitors all year round. Eger is an ideal place for one-day trips, on which you can get to beautiful sites such as Szilvásvárad, from which a narrow gauge railway takes you to Szalajka valley, where the cave of prehistoric man is located. In the Mátra mountains you can walk or climb up to Kékestetõ, the highest peak in Hungary. In Parád you can visit a coach and a crystal museum, and from Eger you can also make a trip to the Hortobágy, the country’s largest national park. In Mikófalva you can take part in a real Hungarian wedding, and a folklore evening program, and also try your hand at horseriding, fishing and rowing.
