General Information

TORNÁCOS PANZIÓ featuring the typical local architectural style-marks of Fertő-shore is a pleasant resting place for the visitors coming to Fertő-shore, which is in the heart of Western Hungary, on Hegykő, halfway between the two crossing points Fertőrákos-Mörbisch and Fertőd-Pamhagen. Our guesthouse with its 31 rooms with bathroom and equipped with telefon and TV, and with its 2 family-size apartmans is suitable for accommodating 80 persons. You can find an appartmenthouse in the neighborhood of the guesthouse for accomotating additional 22 persons. There are 3 two-bedroom appartments with cooking possibility. TV and its own bathroom belong to theese rooms. Here we can give accomodation for guests comming with dogs. Our restaurant can seat 110 persons, our grill-terrace, however, can give pleasant refreshment and entertainment for the same number of persons. Besides them a grocery with rich stock, an exclusive dental surgery and a massage and cosmetic salon make our service range complete. Our own parking place is available for our guests. The Thermalbath well-known in abroad can be found some footsteps from the inn, and has warm water with curative effect that is suitable for the treatment of locomotor diseases. The cold water pool with stretched water surface can provide sporting opportunities. Guests of the pension can buy their daily or weekly tickets for here a discount price at our reception. A mini golf course built according to international standards can be found 100 meters from the house. Tickets for here can also be bought with discounts by those, who stay with us. A cycle path around Lake Fertő was built some meters from the house. The popular beauty spots and sights in the neighbourhood can be reached within 10-30 minutes (bicycle loaning possibility is available locally). The Eszterházy Castle in Fertőd (the Hungarian Versailles) is a scene for concerts every summer and can provide unforgettable musical experience for those interested. In the neighbouring settlement, Sarród can be found the centre of Fertőd Hanság National Park called Kócsagvár. The surrounding area can offer you many sights and program options: the Gloriette, the Széchenyi Castle, the Railway Museum and the riding school in Nagycenk, the European-wide famous spa in Balf, the Stone Quarry Cave-Theatre, the water-mill, the beach and the landing place on the shore of Lake Fertő in Fertőrákos, then the neighbouring Sopron with its typical older part. Beyond the cycling there are possibilities for horse riding, tennis, fishing, surfing, boating and walking tours. Additional trips can be made to reach Kőszeg (45 kms), Wien (85 kms) or its neighbouring well-known Safari-park. Lovers of snow can find their favourite entertainment in the near Austrian ski-paradises (Semmering, Spital approx. 90 kms). We have considered those, who would like to organize their private or business meetings, professional weekends in a pleasant environment in addition to their family relax. Our conference hall equipped with modern equipments can seat up to 35 persons. Our restaurant is open between 8.00-22.00 every day. We are waiting for our dear guests with enjoyable music from Thursdays to Sundays.
