Tata is the city of warters, is located by the foothills of the Gerecse, between Gyõr and Budapest, half an hour away from both of the cities. With car Tata is accessible on the main road 1 or the motorway M1. The outskirts of the city offer opportunities for lovely trips and hiking, but in the city there are also many sights to be found: the lakeside of the lake Öreg and the lake Cseke, museums, parks, mills, castles and many more.

The pension Mónika is directly on the shore of the lake Öreg, in a nature conservation area, an ideal enviroment for guests who wish watersports, quiet and peace. The 8 bigger rooms (25sqm) of our pension can be replenished with spare beds, so a family with 4-5 members fits in comfortable. The 2 smaller rooms offer rest for 1 or 2 persons. From the rooms there is a wonderful view onto the lake.

Shower, toilet, color television, suit of armchairs with coffee table. There is a coffee-bar in the pension with a terrace looking on to the lake. Next to the pension there is a beach. The closest thermal bath is 20 Km away. There is a renovated swimming pool working in the city with several pools.
